Expert Authors was born from my own journey as a spiritual writer.
When I set out to publish my first book, I knew I wanted full creative freedom, a say in every decision, and to retain 100% ownership of my work. But the publishing world made that harder than it needed to be. It felt like I had to choose between doing it all myself or handing over control — and neither felt quite right. I spent so much time trying to find a publisher that would allow me to have a say in the decision making for my book creation and not own the copyright of my work. I didn’t want to only earn 10% commission from my book sales even though I had already paid thousands of pounds to a vanity publisher to create it, I felt it was just wrong!
I embarked on an eighteen-month journey of investing in courses with one of the best traditional publishers in the business, and dedicated hundreds of hours to learn all about book writing and publishing and launched my book ‘The True Meaning of Life’ in September 2018. Not only did I publish it myself, I achieved ‘Bestseller’ status three times on Amazon! Once I published, others started asking me how I had done it, and I started helping them to publish their books too! I’ve been helping authors as a side business since 2019, as I have another business as I am a Clairvoyant Medium and a Spiritual Coach and have helped thousands of clients over my 20-year career.
I’ve created the path I wish I had when I was looking to write and publish my book.
